FIVE MOST SCORING SOUTHEAST ASIAN STRIKERS OF 2015 SEASON

2015 season of Southeast Asian football has finished and FCA looks at five local players who scored most goals of the season.

5/ Le Van Thang (XSKT Can Tho – 16 goals)

Le Van Thang has a superb season when he scored 16 goals for XSKT Can Tho to help his team remain in the V.League next season.

With 16 goals, Van Thang has became the highest scoring Vietnamese player in one season of V.League, surpassing Le Cong Vinh who scored 14 in 2009.
4/ Fazrul Nawaz (Warriors FC – 18 goals)

The Singaporean veteran strikers has found the net 18 times for Warriors FC in 2015 S.League season.
His figure is just three shy of S.League top scorer Ramazotti who plays for champions Brunei DPMM.
3/ Khoun Laboravy (Boeung Ket Angkor – 19 goals)

Khoun Laboravy played most of the season in Boeung Ket Angkor as the backup for Chan Vathanaka and foreign duo but he still managed to find the net 19 times in Cambodian League.
2/ Nguyen Xuan Nam (SHB Vientiane – 22 goals)

Having played for SHB Vientiane on loan from Hanoi T&T in 2015 season, Nguyen Xuan Nam had a string of good perfomances with 22 goals in Lao Premier League to help Laotian outfit finish third in the league.
The individual record of 21 year-old striker is only behind the top scorer of the league – Kazuo Homma of Lao Toyota.
1/ Chan Vathanaka (Boeung Ket Angkor – 37 goals)

Chan Vathanaka became the real phenomenon of South East Asian football in 2015. He scored 37 goals in the Cambodian league to contribute for the third place of Boeung Ket Angkor in domestic league.
In addition, he also burst in into fine form in 2015 Mekong Club Championship with 5 goals to help Cambodian outfit reach the final of the competition.
