BARCELONA icon Lionel Messi could soon have competition from his own flesh and blood - as eight-year-old nephew Agustin already plays for the club.
And the Argentine wonderkid - son of Lionel's oldest bro Rodrigo - is one-up even now, signing for the Catalan giants a whopping SEVEN years before his uncle.
Agustin joined FCB Escola - the school that comes before La Masia's famed academy - in September 2014, aged just six.
Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi made the move from Argentina to Spain aged 13, after a deal to Arsenal collapsed.
Each club there is named after a Nou Camp legend - but Agustin played for Adriano, not Team Messi.
And, according to respected transfer site Transfermarkt, mini-Messi has already made the move to Barcelona Cadete A.
That sees the right-footed striker play alongside kids as old as 16.
His talent is such that he is the youngest in the 25-boy squad by seven years - a squad usually reserved for those aged 14-15.
But it is unlikely to faze him given his family's footballing talent - and the fact he poses with his uncle, regarded by many as the greatest to ever play the game, for photos posted to his 40million Instagram followers.
He has even got his hands on the Copa Del Rey, smiling with Messi following Barca's win over Athletic Bilbao last season.
So it's unlike you'll forget, but just in case... Messi: Remember the name.
